Lakyntiewshisha from West Jaintia Hills win State Level Declamation Contest

Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Meghalaya was conducted State Level Declamation Contest on “Patriotism and Nation Building” as part of Republic Day 2022 celebration at Meghalaya Bharat Scouts & Guides, Conference Hall on Friday  07.01.2022.

Out of 7 NYK Districts only 4 NYK Districts participated in the Contest i.e from East Khasi Hills Represented by Ms Ibakordor Khriemmujat, West Khasi Hills represented by Ms Suzane L.Nonglait, West Jaintia Hills District represented by Ms Lakyntiewshisha Tang and Ri Bhoi District represented by Ms Melita Maring.

All contestants presented a wonderful speech on the topic which was judged by three Experts from different departments. The winner of this contest will represent the State in the National Level Declamation Contest to be held in January 2022 before Republic Day. The winners of the State Level are-

Ms Lakyntiewshisha Tang from West Jaintia Hills has secured the 1^st Position, Ms Ibakordor Khriemmujat from East Khasi Hills secured the 2^nd Position and Ms Melita Maring from Ribhoi District secured the 3^rd Position. MIPR
