Lasooki Lakiang appointed as new chairman of Jowai Municipal Board
Ladthadlaboh Waheh Chnong, Lasooki Lakiang has been appointed as the chairman of Jowai Municipal Board.
In a notification issued on Monday by Commissioner & Secretary Urban Affairs Department, MR Synrem said “The Governor of Meghalaya is pleased to appoint Shri Lasooki Lakiang as Chairman of Jowai Municipal Board in place of Shri Fidel War.”
As per notification, the chairman will hold the post without availing pay/ emoluments except POL with immediate effect and until further orders.
