Light vehicles can ply over Sonapur bridge

The Additional District Magistrate, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat on Friday issued order that only light vehicles can ply over Sonapur bridge for repair/rehabilitation works of the bridge.

As per order, the following classes of vehicles that includes Jeep, Car and Van are allowed to ply the major bridge at Km 140+200 at Sonapur Village on the 19^th, 20^th, 21^st, 22^nd, 25^th, 26^th, 27^th and 28^th of February, 2022.

The order read “Only 3 (Three) MTs Light Motor Vehicles shall be allowed during the period of repair.”
