    The Deputy Commissioner of West Jaintia Hills in pursuance to Rule 8 of the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rule, 2000 has issued an order  requesting  the public to adhere to advisory against broadcasting or use of any PA and Audio System in the localities and Villages of the District by any Faith based or any other organisation, group or people so as not to cause any discomfort or disturbance to the public during this period concerning COVID-19 situation in the country and globally.

    Reported cases are liable to legal action. ADIPR
