Marngar all set to be re-elected as KSU chief

SHILLONG: Khasi Students’Union (KSU) chief Lambokstarwell Marngar is all set to be re-elected unopposed as the leader of the union.

The election committee constituted by the KSU for the conduct of 14th general election of the Union, has declared three posts uncontested after scrutiny of nomination papers.

Along with Marngar, Biangbor Lyngdoh Paliar and Donald V Thabah will continue as vice president and general secretary of the Union for another term.

Meanwhile, the general election of the KSU to elect new office bearers for the term 2020-2023 will be held at Community Hall, Jaiaw Shyiap-Lumpyllon, Shillong on February 22.
