Mawkyrwat Police Station closed after COVID-19 positive cases

Mawkyrwat Police Station in South West Khasi Hills District has been temporarily closed after the detection of COVID-19 positive cases.

The order was issued by Deputy Commissioner, South West Khasi Hills after the detection of positive cases/high risk contacts in specific identified house and compound in Mawkyrwat Police Station.

The order restrict unregulated entry and exit movement in the affected areas which required aggressive contact tracing, quarantined, testing and isolation as well as containment in the interest of Health of general public against any possible spread of COVID-19.
