MCCEU demands financial aid be released by end of Jan

The Mawmluh Cherra Cements Employees Union (MCCEU) has demanded the management of the company to release the finanaical assistance and the first installment of the special scheme proposed for the employees by the end of this month.

The decisin was taken at a meeting of the union held on Monday.In a letter to the MCCL managing director, the MCCEU said, “That the financial assistance and the 1st installment of the special scheme proposed to MCCL employees, should be paid within the end of January as assured by the Joint Committee held on December 16, 2024 in secretariat betwen the management, local MLA of Sohra and Shella and employees.”

“If there is no positive response or steps taken to resolve our demand, further course of action will be taken with consultation with all employees,” it also warned.
