Meat & fish shops will open from Nov 9 in Iewduh

The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District has allowed reopening of Meat and Fish shops in Iewduh, Shillong from November 9.

In an order issued on Friday, the Deputy Commissioner has informed that based on re-assessment of the feasibility of re-opening of Butcher Stalls (Basa Doh) and Fish Wholesale Market (Basa Dohkha) at Iewduh (Bara Bazaar), it has been decided to allow meat and fish shops to open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily from November 9 subject compliance with the protocols issued by the Health and Family Welfare Department.
