MeECL shutdown power supply in West Jaintia Hills

To facilitate maintenance work, power supply will be suspended in whole West Jaintia Hills District from 10 am to 4 pm on October 17.

“No power supply for the whole of West Jaintia Hills on 17.10.2020 wef 10.00hrs to 16.00hrs as 132/33kv Mustem Substation will be put under total Bus shutdown to facilitate checking and tightening of Isolators and jumper Clamps of all feeders and Transformers and others maintenance works. Every effort will be made to complete as scheduled,” said the statement from MeECL.

Power supply will be restored after 4 pm.
