Meghalaya: 19 more tested COVID-19 positive

Meghalaya Chief Minister confirmed that 19 more persons have been tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday, taking the total tally of active cases in the state to 289.

Director of Health Services (MI) Dr Aman War said 255 are in East Khasi Hills District which include 198 from BSF, 4 armed forces and 53 others. 

There are 19 cases in Ri Bhoi, 9 in West Garo Hills, 2 in East Jaintia Hills, 2 in South Garo Hills, 1 in East Garo Hills and 1 in North Garo Hills.Dr War said 46 patients have recovered from the infection and 2 died.
