Meghalaya: 21 more tests COVID-19 positive, tally of active cases at 621
Twenty-one more persons tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, taking the total active cases in the state to 621.
Director of Health Services (MI), Dr Aman War said of the 21 new cases, 6 are from East Khasi Hills including 3 civilians, 2 CRPF and 1 Armed Forces, 6 civilians from Ri Bhoi, 7 BSF troopers from West Garo Hills, 1 from West Jaintia Hills and 1 from South West Khasi Hills.
He also informed that 11 more patients have recovered today, taking the total recoveries in the state to 509.Of the 621 active cases in the state, Dr War informed that East Khasi Hills has 424 that include 268 civilians, 87 BSF troopers and 69 Armed Forces personnel.
There are 91 cases in Ri Bhoi, 72 in West Garo Hills, 16 in West Jaintia Hills, 6 in East Jaintia Hills, 5 in West Khasi Hills, 2 in South West Garo Hills, 2 in South Garo Hills, 2 in North Garo Hills and 1 in South West Khasi Hills.

Time to Check thoroughly these Armed forces or else it will be too late. Check them at entry point and everyone must be treated equally just because they are from defense doesn’t mean they can pass through the Entry point without having proper testing so I request our government and Covid 19 team and warriors to consider about this matter. Every case is coming out from outside state and everyone just be checked properly at entry point only weather it’s civilian or from Armed forces.. Thank you
