Meghalaya: 8 new micro containment declared, Laban State Dispensary reopen
The District Magistrate East Khasi Hills District has declared 8 new micro containment in the district after the detection of Covid-19 cases on Thursday.
The new micro containment are namely:
The first floor of the building of Smti A. Kharbuli, ABP Road, Iewdak, Laban,
Bamboo Hut Restaurant and staff quarters, M.G. Road
Flat No-North 207/208, Ferndale Complex
The compound of Bolinda Kharshandi at Riatsamthiah
Entire J.B. Textile building at Police Bazaar,
Qtr No-P11/3B, GPO Quarters at GPO compound,
The campus of Ram Krishna Mission at Sohra.
In another order, the District Magistrate has directed the tea shop viz “Ingshet Ja” at Garikhana to temporarily remain closed until further orders after the detection of positive COVID-19 cases.
House and building that have been unsealed are:
House of Binod Khemka.
Ferndale Apartments, E-107, IGP.
House of Shri Asish Dhar at Upper Jail Road next to Gini’s complex.
Ramon Cottage at Oakland.
Second floor of building of Smti T. Nongkhlaw, Lumdorbar, Upper Lumparing.
House of Mr. Arjun Kumar Rai, Mr. Debu Sarkar and Mr. Mohon Biswa at Oxford Hills. Maxwelton Estate, Rilbong.
House of Pinki Sharma till the house of Amit Sharma at Upper Maxwelton Estate.
House of Shri S. Sharma (tenant) in the compound of Smti A. Lyngdoh, ABP Road, Iewdak, Laban.
House of Shri Dinesh Kumar Shah (tenant) in the building of Smti Lorina Rynjah, behind Zenith Jubelieth Club, St. John Area, Laban.
Whole area of Keating road from Jha fruit stall, Khyndailad till the new Employment Exchange building including Mohan Makin’s road (the shops opposite to office of the Superintendent of Police, Shillong till Saigal Motors).
Quarters within the Laban State Dispensary, Laban.
The compounds of Kalyani Dhar, Bijan Dhar, Nihar Dhar at Jail Road.
The compound of Buli Roy (near Puja Mandap) at Jail Road.
The District Magistrate has also allowed the Laban State Dispensary, Shillong to resume operation with immediate effect.
However, the house of Shambu Rawat at Upper Maxwelton Estate, Income Tax Quarters, Type-2, Quarter No-4, Birma Jalan compound c/o Ganesh Store opposite Income Tax Quarters, Goenka compound, Kadir compound, A. Swer compound, building of Phani Ram near Kali Mandir, building of Bipul Sen, building of Dilip Deb, 1st floor of Neuke Cottage belonging to Pankaj Kapoor, house of Om Prakash in Rapsang building at Keating road, quarter within Laban State Dispensary occupied by the Pharmacist, Smti D. Pakyntein and Top floor in the building of Smti Mildalin Mawiong, Bishnupur, Old Kench’s Trace near Surbathiang have been retained as micro containment zone.
