Meghalaya: Another returnee tests positive for COVID-19
The number of active COVID-19 cases in the state rose to 8 after another returnee was tested positive on Thursday.
Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma informed that the person who is from Tura, West Garo Hills district had travelled back to the state from Haryana recently. He said that at present the number of COVID-19 cases has increased to 21 with one fatal loss and 12 others have recovered from the viral infections.
“Another person who had travelled from Haryana has turned out positive. Person is in Tura and under quarrantine. Total cases : 21, Recovered : 12, deceased :1, active cases : 8,” Sangma posted on his Twitter handle.
