Meghalaya constituted committee to re-examine SOP for opening of religious places

The Meghalaya Government has constituted a Committee to re-examine the SOP for opening of religious places in the state.

Joint Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Home (Political) Department on Wednesday informed that Chief Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Shri M. S. Rao will be headed the committee as Chairman, Secretary, Home (Political) Department, Shri C. V. D. Diengdoh as Member Secretary.

Its members include – DHS (MI), Dr. Aman Warr, President, Shillong All Faiths Forum, Most Rev. Dr. P. Lyngdoh, Vice-President, Shillong All Faiths Forum, Fr. John Madur, Secretary, Shillong All Faiths Forum, Rev. E. H. Kharkongor and Joint Secretary, Shillong All Faiths Forum, Shri Naba Bhattacharjee.
