Meghalaya: First COVID-19 case reported in Khliehriat

A person who returned from Assam has tested positive for COVID-19 in Khliehriat, East Jaintia Hills District, taking the total number of active cases in the state to 9

This is the first case in the district.
“One more person who came from Assam (Guwahati)has tested positive for COVID 19 in Khliehriat.

Total Positive cases 52
Total Active Cases 9,” Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said on his Twitter handle today.
