Meghalaya: Five awarded police medals on Republic Day

Four Meghalaya Police personnel and one Fire and Emergency Services personnel have been awarded a prestigious police medal on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day.

The awardees included:
President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service: Shri. Timenson K. Marak, AB Constable, 1st MLP Bn., Mawiong.

Police Medal for Meritorious Service:
Shri. Digreathson G. Momin, MPS, Asstt. Commandant, 2nd MLP Bn., Goeragre.

Shri. Madalu Ram, AB Inspector (I/C Training Branch), 4th MLP (2nd IRBN) Sohpian, Nongstoin.

Shri. Cliffhilberth B. Sangma, Asstt. Sub-Inspector, 5th MLP (3rd IRBN), Samgong, Williamnagar.

Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Service:
Shri. Wanlambok Lapang, Leading Fireman, Fire & Emergency Service, Meghalaya.
