Meghalaya Governor interacts with youths from Manipur
Meghalaya Governor C.H. Vijayashankar on Tuesday interacted with a team of Youths from Manipur under the National Integration Tour, organized by the 57 Mountain Division of the Indian Army. The team comprised 9 participants (7 Males & 2 Females), who had the unique opportunity to interact with the Hon’ble Governor and to visit the historical Raj Bhavan.
They’ve shared experience of their visit to different parts of Meghalaya and praised the natural beauty and culture of the state.
The National Integration Tour is a noble initiative aimed at fostering unity and understanding among different regions of the country. During the interaction, the Hon’ble Governor lauded the efforts of the Indian Army for organizing such programs, which promote national unity and the spirit of brotherhood among the people of India, especially the youth.
The Governor encouraged the participants to continue being ambassadors of peace and harmony, and emphasized the importance of national integration for a strong and prosperous India. He shared insights on the diverse cultural fabric of Meghalaya, highlighting the role that the youth can play in building a harmonious and united India.
