Meghalaya Govt announces special leave for voters

Shillong, Feb 13: The Deputy Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, District Council Affairs Department, has informed that in view of the General Election, 2025, to the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council and the Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council, a special leave has been allowed to all Central Government employees who are electors under these constituencies.

The leave has been granted to enable voters to exercise their franchise on the 21st of February, 2025, which is the designated Poll Day.
