Meghalaya Govt appoints Dawhoi Langstang as new MPSC Chairman

The Meghalaya Government has appointed outgoing Chief Engineer of PWD Dawhoi Langstang as the next Chairman of MPSC.

Langstang was appointed in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 316 of the Constitution of India, read with Regulation 4 of the MPSC Regulations, 1972 vide notification No.PER(AR)65/2010/Pt/144 Dated 17 April 2025 .

According to the notification, during his tenure, Langstang shall be entitled to and shall remain subject to all terms and conditions as contained in the aforesaid Regulation.

Further, Bedarius Shylla, i/c Chairman, Meghalaya Public Service Commission is hereby relieved of his function as i/c Chairman, Meghalaya Public Service Commission with immediate effect.
