Meghalaya Govt ordered investigation into collapsed of boundary wall of P A Sangma’s Sports Complex
The Meghalaya Government has ordered an investigation into the collapsed of the portion of the boundary wall of the PA Sangma’s Sports Complex, Tura.
The portion of the boundary wall could not withstand the pressure of the earth loosen up due to incessant rainfall and collapsed on Thursday morning.
According to Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, following reports of the partial damage to the retaining wall of the P A Sangma Stadium in Tura, officials have been on the job to clear the landslide debris.
“Instructions have been given to the Administration and the Department to conduct a thorough investigation and for the contractors to submit a report on the cause of the damage,” said Conrad K Sangma, the son of P A Sangma.
