Meghalaya Govt spent Rs 12.9 Cr for implementation of revised rate of post matric scholarship
Education minister, Lahkmen Rymbui on Monday announced the implementation of revised rate of the Post Matric Umbrella Scheme of Scholarship as decided by the Fee Fixation Committee and notified by the state government for the academic year (AY) 2019-2020.
He said the long overdue revision was taken last year to benefit the poor and needy students of the state. This was also done after a gap of six years since the last revision was in 2014.
