Meghalaya Govt transfers DC, Jowai & three other DCs

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, Abhinav Kumar Singh, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, North Garo Hills District, Resubelpara is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills District, Jowai in place of B S Sohliya, IAS who is transferred and posted as Director of Information and Public Relations.

Anita Kharpor, IAS, Additional Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Personnel & A.R. Department, and Director, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs etc., is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Eastern West Khasi Hills District, Mairang in place of Mitali Chandra, IAS who is transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Social Welfare Department.

Abhishek Saini, IAS (RR: 2021), Additional Deputy Commissioner, in-charge Amlarem (Civil) Sub-Division, Amlarem is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, North Garo Hills District, Resubelpara.

Richard Yanthan, IAS (RR: 2020), Deputy Commissioner, South Garo Hills District, Baghmara is transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare, Community & Rural Development and Power Departments.

Sumit Kumar Singh, IAS (RR: 2021), Additional Deputy Commissioner, In-charge Dadenggre (Civil) Sub-Division, Dadenggre is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, South Garo Hills District, Baghmara.

F. R. Kharkongor, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Arts & Culture etc., Departments will also function as Principal Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Home (Police) & Home (Political) Departments.

R.C Sohkhlet, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Cooperation and Tourism is relieved of her functions as Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Cooperation Department.

Swapnil Tembe, IAS, Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Education etc., Departments shall also function as Director, Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute (MATI).

Ramkumar S, IAS, has Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare etc., Departments and Director, Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute (MATI) is relieved of his functions as Director, Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute (MATI).

T.G. Momin, IAS, Additional Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department shall also function as Additional Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Personnel & A.R. Department.

Kum. Anendya Raajsshre, IAS (RR: 2022), Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar) East Khasi Hills District, Shillong is transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Officer Arnlarem (Civil) Sub-Division, Amlarem.

Aditya Verma, IAS (RR: 2022), Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar) East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat is transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Officer Dadenggre (Civil) Sub-Division, Dadenggre.

Manish Kumar, IAS (RR: 2022), Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar) West Garo Hills District, Tura is transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Officer Jengjal (Civil) Sub-Division, Jengjal.

Dr. Twinkle S.R. Marak, MCS, Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department, Joint Director, MATI etc., is relieved of her functions as Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department.
