Meghalaya HC seeks report on short-term measures to improve healthcare system at the grassroot level
The Meghalaya High Court on Friday sought a report on the short-term measures taken by the state government to improve the healthcare system at the grassroot level.
Hearing a PIL, the two-member bench has directed the government to submit the report within a week’s time.
“Let the matter stand over for a week for the State to indicate the short-term measures taken over the last three months, as the State claims, to improve the healthcare system at the grassroots level,” the order said.
The next hearing on the matter will be held on September 9.
