Coronavirus | Meghalaya heading towards community spread: DHS

Director of Health Services (MI), Dr Aman War said Shillong is going into community spread. 

He said in Garo Hills, plain belt area and Tikrikilla are also areas of concern where we suspect community spread has started. “However, a definite statement will be issued as and when we complete the contact tracing,” Dr War said. 

This came after random testing was conducted in and around Shillong as well as Garo Hills.
