Meghalaya permits private schools to determine end day for academic session

The Meghalaya Education Department has notified that private schools except Government schools may determine the end date for the Pre-Primary Academic Session and Classes I to XII.

According to notification issued on Tuesday, the private schools are adhered to the minimum working days and instructional hours specified under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009, as outlined in the notifcation.
