Meghalaya police ask to verify fake news on COVID-19

The Assistant Inspector General of Police (A), Meghalaya GK Iangrai, MPS has requested the general public to kindly report any fake news relating to COVID-19, circulating in social media or any other medium by reporting the same through the COVID-19 Fake News Verification portal of Meghalaya Police https://megedistrict.gov.in/directApply.do?serviceId=1149.

Public are also requested to kindly verify the authenticity of any information before uploading/ circulating through Social Media as it may create trepidation among the citizens. MIPR
