Meghalaya police constable shoots self with service gun

A police constable, who was on duty as a guard of the additional Judge of the Meghalaya High Court, shot himself dead with his service gun on Wednesday.

Armed branch constable/2297 Chiran Musharry was detailed for guard duty last night, SP Sylvester Nongtnger said.

Musharry was found dead at around 6.30 am. He shot himself by a service weapon, Nongtnger said.
