Meghalaya police organizes digital health session

Meghalaya police on Friday organised a digital health session on “how to tackle COVID-19” for the officials of the department.

The main speaker of the webinar was Dr Rahul Bhargava, Principal Director-Haematology, Haemato Oncology & BMT, Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram, and R Chandranathan, IPS Director General of Police, was the Chief Guest.

The informative webinar was organised with an aim to enlighten the officials regarding the health procedures that had to be followed by frontline workers during the pandemic, and on the importance of vaccination.

The webinar also addressed several issues that are being encountered by the officials in the course of performing their duties and also dispelled most of the rumours that are being circulated regarding COVID-19 vaccination.
