Meghalaya Power Minister inaugurates 20 KL Oxygen plant at Baljek

Meghalaya Power Minister James K Sangma on Friday inaugurated the 20 KL Cryogenic Oxygen Plant at Baljek, Jengjal in the presence Grahambell A Sangma, MDC of Jengjal, Ram Singh, Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills amongst others.

Inaugurating the plant, James said that the Plant will cater to the much-needed oxygen supply of Garo Hills as well as parts of neighbouring West Khasi Hills District. With the new Plant functional, the shortage of oxygen supply in the State will not be a hindrance in the treatment of patients, especially when a pandemic strikes, he said.

James lauded Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma for his personal involvement in bringing the plant and the entire team who were involved in working hard to complete the setup and installation of the Plant.
