Meghalaya records 26 COVID-19 active cases
The COVID-19 active cases in the state as on Saturday is 26 after only a single case was detected in East Khasi Hills district, Director of Health Services (MI) Dr Aman War said.
Dr War informed that 13 patients have also recovered from the viral infection including 9 from West Jaintia Hills district, 2 East Khasi Hills district, 1 East Jaintia Hills district and 1 West Khasi Hills district.
So far, the state has detected a total of 13,952 COVID-19 cases out of which 26 are active cases, 13,778 recovered and 148 deaths.
East Khasi Hills has 23 active cases, West Jaintia Hills 1, East Jaintia Hills 1 and West Khasi Hills 1.
On the other hand, of the 3,60,092 persons who have tested for COVID-19 in the state as on date, 3,46,140 were tested negative for the virus even as 5 persons are in institutional quarantine and 21 under home quarantine.
There are 92,209 entrants from outside the state.
