Meghalaya records 3 new COVID-19 cases, 3 recoveries
The state has recorded 3 new COVID-19 cases and 3 recoveries on Monday.
Director of Health Services (MI), Dr Aman War said the new cases included 2 in East Khasi Hills district and 1 in Ri Bhoi district.
He informed that the 3 patients who recovered from the viral infection include 2 from East Khasi Hills and 1 from East Jaintia Hills.
So far, the state has detected a total of 13,707 COVID-19 cases out of which 148 are active cases, 13,415 recovered and 144 deaths.
East Khasi Hills has 100 active cases, West Jaintia Hills 23, East Jaintia Hills 16, North Garo Hills 3, Ri Bhoi 3 and West Khasi Hills 2.
On the other hand, of the 3,18,901 persons who have tested for COVID-19 in the state as on date, 3,05,194 were tested negative for the virus even as 59 persons are in institutional quarantine and 88 under home quarantine.
There are 83, 874 entrants from outside the state.
