Meghalaya records 90 new COVID-19 cases
The state on Thursday recorded 90 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total active cases to 212.
Director of Health Services (MI) Dr Aman War said 70 cases were detected from East Khasi Hills district, 9 from West Garo Hills district, 5 from West Jaintia Hills district and 3 from Ri Bhoi.
Dr War also informed that 23 persons have recovered from the viral infection of which 22 are from East Khasi Hills and 1 from West Garo Hills.
So far, the state has detected a total of 85,021 COVID-19 cases out of which 212 are active cases, 83,324 recovered and 1,485 deaths.

East Khasi Hills has the highest number of COVID-19 cases with 176 followed by West Garo Hills 20, West Jaintia Hills 6, Ri Bhoi 5, South West Khasi Hills 3 and East Jaintia Hills 2.
