Meghalaya Secretariat Home Guards personnel apprehend thief near 3rd Secretariat

Two alert off-duty Guardsmen of the Meghalaya Secretariat Home Guards today apprehended a person red-handed while attempting to steal a generator from the premises behind the 3rd Secretariat.

Guardsmen Lingbirth Arengh and Darmiki Langstang spotted the individual while passing near the 3rd Secretariat and found his actions suspicious, prompting them to apprehend him.

They informed their superiors, and the person was later handed over to the police at Sadar Police Station for necessary action.
