Meghalaya seek Centre’s approval for over Rs 1000 Cr projects under minority affairs

Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has sought the Centre’s support for implementation of various projects worth over Rs 1000 crore under the Minority Affairs Ministry.

Informing this on Wednesday, Sangma said, “I have submitted certain projects amounting to close to about Rs 1000 plus crores for consideration. I have requested the minister to support us in those projects.”

He added, “The minister has asked for further clarification. So we will discuss and we hope that some of the projects will go.”
