P. B. M. Basaiawmoit says
It is indeed sad and most unfortunate. Sincere condolence to the bereaved families of both the State’s Cricket stars. R I P.
There are many more who have lost lives and/ homes owing to the heavy and incessant rains. We offer sincere condolences to the bereaved relatives and RIP.
However, cutting down old trees is not the solution and to prevent further devastation in future. Trees have their role to play for conservation and air purification. Quarrying, mining lead to soil erosion as they loosen the soil and water finds the weakest spots, loose soil, etc. to meander in and then rush in
forcefully and then turn the world upside down. Environment friendly methods must be adopted to prevent hazards which could be human induced like Climate Change.
Pradip Chakraborty says
I do not have words to express my condolence to the Family of the Young Ladies.
I also use to play cricket in my school days in Shillong .
