MHHDC Ltd launches “Abode of Crafts” emporium in Shillong

The Meghalaya Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited (MHHDC Ltd.), a Government of Meghalaya undertaking, proudly inaugurated its new sales emporium, “Abode of Crafts by MHHDC Ltd.,” at Khadi Plaza, First Floor, Barik Shillong, on September 26.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests, including Santa Mary Shylla, MLA and Chairman of MHHDC Ltd.; CVD Diengdoh, IAS, Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Planning Department; F Swer, MFS, Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Finance Department; S Momin, Vice Chairman of MHHDC Ltd.; P Kharpyngrope, Vice Chairman of MHHDC Ltd.; and P Toi, Managing Director of MHHDC Ltd.

The “Abode of Crafts” emporium showcases an impressive array of Meghalaya’s handicraft, handloom, and agro-based products. The emporium aims to highlight the extraordinary skills and expertise of the region’s weavers and artisans, capturing the rich heritage of Meghalaya through its exquisite offerings.
