Midday meal rice released in East Jaintia Hills

The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat in a press release issued has informed that Midday Meal Rice for Lower Primary Schools, Upper Primary Schools and Bal-Vatika for Pre-Primary level under the Midday Meal Scheme for the months of July, August & September 2024 has been released and the same will be delivered free of cost to the doorsteps of the schools by the approved Government Nominees.

The scale of issue is 5.900 kgs per student for Pre-Primary Level (Bal-Vatika), 5.900 kgs per student for Lower Primary Schools and 10.050 kgs per student for Upper Primary Schools.
