Minister Warjri’s visit inspires trainees at Jaintia Institute
Meghalaya Sports Minister Shakliar Warjri visited the Jaintia Institute of Technology on January 24 to engage with trainees under the skill training program sponsored by the Meghalaya State Skill Development Society under the Department of Labour, Employment, and Skill Development. He shared valuable insights on the government’s vision for youth empowerment and employment.
The minister was accompanied by the Skill Development Officer, L Suchen, and the Managing Director of the Institute, B Marwein, along with the staff and trainers of the institute. The minister’s visit was a significant event, inspiring students with his guidance on achieving self-reliance and success through skill development and dedication.
Addressing the gathering, the minister highlighted the government’s commitment to reducing unemployment by providing comprehensive skill training programs aimed at upskilling young individuals. He encouraged students to take full advantage of these initiatives to become self-reliant and independent rather than solely relying on government jobs.
