Minority students of Meghalaya invited to apply for Scholarships

The Department of Higher and Technical Education, Meghalaya has invited applications from students belonging to minority groups- Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhist, Zoroastrians (Parsis) and Jains for being eligible for pre-matric, post-matric, merit-cum-means-based scholarships under the Scheme of Minority Scholarship for Students Belonging to Minority.

The scholarship is for the students who are permanent residents in the state of Meghalaya studying in and outside the State for the year 2021-22.

The applications can be filed at the national scholarship portal www.scholarships.gov.in

The last date for submission of Online application for Fresh and Renewal scholarship by students is 15th November 2021 for pre-matric, for post-matric and merit-cum- means-based scholarships is 30th November 2021.
