Miscreants pelt stones at bus carrying NPP supporters at Jongksha

Miscreants on Saturday pelted stones at a bus carrying supporters of the National People’s Party (NPP) after a meeting held at Jongksha.

The incident took place at around 6 pm just hours after the NPP announced Kansing Lynshiang as its candidate from Mawkynrew constituency, which is presently represented by PDF legislator and cabinet minister Banteidor Lyngdoh.

Sources informed that the bus was carrying Lynshiang supporters from Thangsning Mawsam villages. While returning back to the village, two miscreants started pelting stones at the bus at Jongksha Dong Mission. 

Lynshiang said that the party will not file any FIR against the miscreants as they don’t know what they are doing.
