Miscreants set ablaze four shops in SWKH

At least four shops were set on fire in South West Khasi Hills District on Monday. 

Assistant Inspector General of Police (A) GK Iangrai said miscreatns burnt down 4 shops taken on rent by non-indigenous community in Photkroh Bazaar, 60 kms away from Mawkyrwat, the district headquater of South West Khasi Hills. He said further details awaited. 

Meanwhile, the senior police officer said that the situation in the state is under control and close watch is being maintained.
