Miss North East felicitated by DC’s Office East Jaintia Hills

The Deputy Commissioner East Jaintia Hills District organizrd a felicitation program in honour of Irene Dkhar who was recently crowned as Miss North East 2022 and Miss Meghalaya 2022.

The Deputy Commissioner said Irene has brought laurels to the district and emerged as a Youth Icon.

“We also invited her to be a part of several youth centric intiatives that we are taking as her presence will motivate the other aspiring youth of the district,” he also said.

Jonathan Shylla, ADC, SM Marwein, EAC, F Wann, EAC and Wan Buam were also present during the program.
