Mizoram Police arrested Myanmarese National with heroin worth over Rs.5 crore
In their continued “War on Drugs” mission,Mizoram Police arrested one Myanmarese National on early Tuesday’s morning and seized heroin worth Rs. 5.585 Crores in international market.
Police said that the CID(SB) team of the Mizoram Police arrested Myanmarese National at the outskirt of Hnahlan village, Champhai District.
They recovered 1.117 Kgs (100 soap cases) of heroin, valued Rs 5.585 Crores in international market from the possession of Myanmarese National.
Police said that Myanmarese National is identified as Ginsuanlang (34) s/o Nangsianpau Sakawrlam, Tiddim, Myanmar.
The accused alongwith the seized items handed over to Champhai Police Station for further investigation, police added.
