Mizoram Police seized drugs worth Rs. 31 Cr

Acting on reliable input, a joint operation team of CID (SB) and Champhai DEF of Mizoram Police seized 10 packets of suspected Crystal meth weighing 10.385 kgs worth Rs. 31.115 crore on Tuesday morning at around 10:30 a.m. at Melbuk, Champhai District.

The drugs were seized grom the joint possession of Malsawmzuali (38) and Lalchhandama (19).

Police said that the origin and destination of the seized drug is under investigation.

Police registered a case No. 6/2024, dt. 06.02.2024 u/s 22 (C)/29 NDPS Act, 1985 at Zokhawthar Police Station.
