More houses declared containment area in South West Khasi Hills

The District Magistrate, South West Khasi Hills has declared three more houses as containment area in three villages after the detection of COVID-19 positive cases.

This houses include the house of Hesdinglan Lyngdoh at Mawthabah village, Emerianda Kharsawlyngdoh of Rilang village and Overwell Wahlang at Mawkyrwat village.

The order restrict unregulated entry and exit movement on site which required aggressive contact tracing, quarantined, testing and isolation as well as containment in the interest of Health of general public against any possible spread of COVID-19.
