MPJ Jewellers opens new showroom in Shillong

Meghalaya’s top jewellery brand, MPJ Jewellers, has opened a new 6,500 sq. ft. showroom in Shillong on Friday.

Singer-songwriter Jessie Lyngdoh inaugurated the showroom on Jail Road, Police Bazar, opposite Courtyard by Marriott, in the presence of esteemed guests.

MPJ Jewellers, present in Shillong since 2012, has gained trust through modern elegance and traditional designs.

Managing Director Soumik Roy Chowdhury said, “We’re excited to move to a bigger and better location. This showroom showcases our finest collections, bringing joy to Shillong. It’s one of our largest in Northeast India.”

Jessie Lyngdoh added, “MPJ Jewellers creates elegant, well-crafted pieces. I’m excited to see Shillong shine brighter with them!”

MPJ Jewellers offers a wide range of jewellery in 22Kt gold, diamonds, platinum, and gemstones for astrological purposes.

With over 15 showrooms across Northeast India, including Shillong, Guwahati, and Agartala, MPJ plans to grow to 50 stores in the next 2 years. This year, they will open eight new stores, including in Northeast and West Bengal, aiming to be a top branded jewellery house in eastern India.
