Mudslide halts traffic in Sonapur Tunnel on National Highway 6

East Jaintia Hills Police has reported a mudslide incident in Sonapur tunnel along National Highway 6.

In pictures, a Maruti Gypsy and a truck can be seen stuck in the mud due to the mudslide incident.

According to Police, following mud and rock slide at the Sonapur Tunnel took place this morning, the tunnel was temporarily blocked.

However, efforts are already under way to clear debris to restore traffic flow.
