Daily traffic jams due to poor road conditions and vehicle breakdowns are plaguing commuters on National Highway 6 along East Jaintia Hills District.

The road is a vital link connecting Meghalaya with neighboring states. Regrettably, there has been no sign or action from NHAI to fix the road.
