National Lok Adalat settled 166 cases in Meghalaya

The National Legal Services Authority has organised the National Lok Adalat in all districts of Meghalaya on Saturday.

During National Lok Adalat, 578 Pre-Litigation cases and 368 pending cases were taken up for settlement.

A total number of cases taken up was 946, and of which 166 cases were settled for a total amount of Rs. 69,67,018.44/- (Rupees Sixty nine lakhs sixty seven thousand eighteen and forty four paise) only in the National Lok Adalat.
