NEHU conferred PhD to Deisami

The North Eastern Hills University (NEHU) has conferred the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy to Deisami Sumer in English department recently.

He is the son of Risan Sumer and B Lonely Phira of Panaliar, Jowai, West Jaiñtia Hills District.

Under supervision of Prof. Sujata Gurudev, he completed a thesis entitled History as Myth in Wilson Harris’ Novels: A select study in North Eastern Hill University Department.

He is presently Lecturer of Shillong College.
